Federal Reserve Bank of Boston – Roofing & Waterproofing

Titan Roofing removed an existing ballasted IRMA roof and installed 82,500 square feet of Sarnafil 60 mil peel-and-stick PVC membrane over mechanically attached DensDeck DuraGuard and flat polyisocyanurate insulation. The assembly was installed to provide consistent attachment, surface stability, and reliable membrane performance.

The scope also included waterproofing of granite planters and installation of a lead gray membrane on a lower roof section, requiring careful coordination to integrate multiple waterproofing conditions across the structure.

Work was performed under high wind conditions and within an occupied facility, requiring controlled sequencing, site management, and adherence to safety protocols to minimize disruption to building operations.

Result: A high-performance PVC roofing system installed with precision under demanding site conditions, demonstrating Titan Roofing’s ability to execute adhered membrane systems in wind-sensitive environments while maintaining control, consistency, and occupant awareness. The project’s inclusion as a Sika Sarnafil featured project reflects the quality of installation and attention to system integrity.
