Historic Roofing Restoration

Titan Roofing is often contracted to perform work on historically significant structures. The ability to replicate original features to meet historic guidelines is critical on these projects. Our workers record existing conditions, field measure building components and provide Titan's engineering and fabrication departments with information to produce shop drawings which will subsequently be used to replicate original conditions.

These projects typically involve ornate detailed structures with masonry, tile, slate, metal roofing, and ornamental metal details. Some projects include a combination of existing historic features and new construction features designed to match existing features. Titan's workforce performs this work to provide a seamless match between the new and old.

As a large roofing contractor with a higher bonding capacity, we are capable of managing multi-faceted and complex projects which may require multiple subcontracts and a higher level of coordination. With ever growing partnerships with local contractors in the areas of work often associated with large roofing projects, we are able to assemble project teams which share our standards of efficiency, safety and workmanship.

In 2004, Titan Roofing received the National Roofing Contractors Association Gold Circle Award for Innovative Solutions for our work at the New York State Capitol Building.
