Titan Roofing Inc. is a family operated company which has a commitment to all of its employees and entities to provide a safe and healthful workplace. Titan Roofing embodies the policies and procedures for prevention of injury, property damage and occupational illness.  No single detail of our work is of greater importance.

It is our goal to uphold commitment to maintaining an accident-free workplace.  There is under no circumstance an acceptable reason for compromising safety.  The Titan Roofing Safety Manual and Pre-Task planning activities are specifically designed to achieve and reinforce this goal.  The results of our safety training and planning efforts will affect our overall success.

Safety training is provided by The Corporate Safety Director to all employees at initial hire and annually to improve safety performance and awareness.  Each employee is required to undergo rigorous continuing education in specific safety areas.  These areas include but are not limited to:

  • Cranes
  • Hazard Communication
  • Personal Protective Equipment
  • Hand and Power Tools
  • Personal Fall Arrest Systems
  • Power Line Hazards
  • Scaffolding

All supervisory employees accept their responsibility for the prevention of accidents and for conducting all operations under their supervision in a safe manner.  Additional training such as CPR/First Aid may be provided to supervisors but is not exclusively limited to supervisors.

In addition to training, the Corporate Safety Director is responsible for assisting in the development, coordination, and follow-up of the company Safety and Loss Control Program. The Safety Director works closely with management in the prevention and management of work related injuries and illnesses both in the field, at the shop, and those involving vehicular accidents throughout the entire organization.  The Safety Director conducts weekly routine Safety Audits and provides detailed recommendations to Project Management and Site Supervisors.
